Iftar
Providing iftar, the evening meal, for those fasting during Ramadan is a virtuous act in Islam. According to an authentic hadith, narrated by Abu Hurairah, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast, shall have his sins forgiven and he will be saved from the Fire of Hell, and he shall have the same reward as the fasting person, without his reward being diminished at all." (Sunan al-Tirmidhi) By donating towards iftar, we can help provide food for those in need, such as children and the poor community, at the mosque. This act of kindness not only helps alleviate hunger but also brings people together and strengthens the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood in Islam. With your support, we can continue to provide iftar during the blessed month of Ramadan and earn the reward of this noble act.
